Another huge week of esports kicks off on October 16, 2023, with Counter-Strike<\/a> taking centre stage.<\/p>\n

The first Counter-Strike 2 LAN event will take place in Sydney, Australia, with IEM Fall (also known as IEM Sydney) kicking off on October 16 and concluding on Sunday, October 22.<\/p>\n

16 of the world’s best teams will make their way down under to Sydney to compete in the US$250,000 event, with the winner claiming the US$100,000 prize cheque and a spot at IEM Katowice 2024.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the season ending tournaments for both League of Legends and Dota 2 will continue, with the World Championship and The International entering the main event stage of the each tournament. <\/p>\n
