The team only had one win and three losses in the tournament, and so didn&#8217;t make it to the <a href=\"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/counter-strike\/iem-rio-major\/\" title=\"IEM Rio Major betting\">IEM Rio Major<\/a>.\u2028 <\/p>\n<p>\u2028Before the announcement, or even the European RMR, a report revealed that k0nfig\u2019s removal from Astralis was imminent and detailed the fight the player was in. Although the report claimed that an eyewitness on the scene made the revelation, k0nfig responded by calling the information &#8220;rumors that are mostly BS&#8221;.\u2028 <\/p>\n<p>\u2028The player did not say anything concerning the situation until recently, when he released a TwitLonger which basically retracted his previous words. The report said that the CS:GO player hurt his leg after getting into a fight with a club promoter. <\/p>\n<p>K0nfig explained that the event occurred the day the Danish team missed out on qualification for the ESL Pro League Season 16 playoffs. He recalled that he went to a club with his friends, but they had already entered the establishment when he arrived.\u2028 <\/p>\n<p>\u2028&#8221;The entrance of the nightclub was at the top of this staircase leading into the club,&#8221; K0nfig wrote.\u2028 \u2028<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I walked up the staircase and asked the guy who appeared to be in charge if I could join my friends and explained that they had already gone in.&#8221;\u2028 \u2028<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Instead of just saying no, he dissed my tattoos and said that it was &#8216;his fucking club&#8217; and that I was a &#8216;tattooed looser&#8217; and that there was no way he would let me in, except if I paid \u20ac5000 for a table.&#8221;\u2028 \u2028<\/p>\n<p>The player revealed that the duo started exchanging harsh words until the club promoter &#8220;spat me directly in my face and kicked me straight in the face&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>During the altercation, the assailant was allegedly a few steps above him, and the hit made him fall down the stairs. The fall resulted in a sprained ankle and several other injuries around his mouth and leg.\u2028 \u2028<\/p>\n<p>The CS:GO player revealed that he remained outside the establishment until the club promoter that allegedly attacked him emerged, and then threatened to call the police on him.\u2028 \u2028<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He immediately spat at me once again and cursed at me, which infuriated me,&#8221; k0nfig said.\u2028 <\/p>\n<p>\u2028&#8221;We got into a fight, and he broke my leg, and I fell to the ground. He was kicking me multiple times in the head while I was lying down. I tried getting away from the situation, but I couldn\u2019t because of the broken leg.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I tried to run away, but I couldn\u2019t put weight on my right leg. It just snapped and broke completely, dislocating my foot as well. He stopped kicking me because I dragged him down to me, and I had to use self-defense to make him stop kicking me.\u2028&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>\u2028Due to the severity of the fracture, k0nfig had to return to Denmark to undergo surgery. He explained that the Malta authorities had begun investigating the matter and had named him the victim. <\/p>\n<p>According to the rifler, while the club promoter had a positive drug test, his was clear.\u2028 \u2028<\/p>\n<p>K0nfig has been an integral part of Astralis since the player signed on in November 2021. The rifler helped the team to qualify for the May PGL Antwerp Major and also to advance to the IEM Cologne semifinals in July.\u2028 <\/p>\n<p>\u2028K0nfig is currently trying to recover from his injury. However, it is not certain what the player will do next.\u2028 <\/p>\n<p>\u2028Teams will likely not sign new players until next year due to the roster lock of the IEM Rio Major. Astralis, on the other hand, reportedly have eyes on Nicolai &#8220;dev1ce&#8221; Reedtz from Ninjas in Pyjamas for the rifler role.<\/p>\n<p>\u2028<a href=\"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/news\/\"
