Lava are 2-2, which sits them in the middle of the standings, with wins against APU King of Kings (2-1) and Infamous (2-1) and defeats against two of the region’s top Dota 2 teams in Thunder Awaken (0-2) and beastocast (0-2).

There is no hiding that Lava have looked much better this tour, but we have a hard time finding a reason to bet on them at the offered Dota 2 esports betting odds. At -454.55, their implied probability of winning this match is 85%, which is too high.

A lot will have to go right for Balrogs for them to win, but if Bernardo “Berna” Rocca can show the same form they had against APU King of Kings, they should steal at least one map.

Hokori enter this match with a 2-2 record, including wins against Infamous (2-0) and APU King of Kings (2-1). Having beaten Infamous, Hokri have proven that they can be competitive, but we wouldn’t say they’re much better than Infinity.

Infinity might have won only one of their three series (1-2), but Hokori have not shown anything thus far that would make us believe they deserve to be -166.67 favourites for this bout. Admittedly, we haven’t seen much from Infinity this tour, but they looked excellent against APU King of Kings last week.

Results-wise, Hokori are in a better spot, but the eye test would prove that these two squads are evenly matched. A bet on over 2.5 maps isn’t a bad choice, but +125 on Infinity is too good to pass on.

Based on their recent showings, there isn’t a lot to set Interitus and Omega apart, and you could say that they are evenly matched talent-wise as well. Yet the esports betting sites have Omega priced as the favourites, which we believe they got wrong.

Despite their recent slip-ups, Interitus have been playing well, and they don’t deserve to be priced that high. However, Interitus had some moments in the past where they choked and lost maps they shouldn’t have, so we’ll play it safe and predict a three-map series.

?Hokori enter the third week of action with back-to-back 0-2 defeats against NoPing Esports and Thunder Predator. Hokori might deserve some slack for those losses since they had to face two of the strongest teams in the region, but it won’t get much easier for Brayan “Gardick” Antony López Cárdenas and his crew on Friday.

Beastcoast struggled a bit at the start of the month against APU King of Kings, yet they still produced a 2-0 sweep, adding another clean victory against Lava (2-0) a week later. However, it’s worth noting that while beastcoast look solid, they seem to be giving up too many kills in their games (30.25 average deaths), suggesting we could be in for a bloody match.

The esports bookmakers have set the total kill line at 49.5, which is slightly too low given the teams’ playstyle and is a solid bet at the provided Dota 2 betting odds.

?Lava played solid Dota in their season opener against APU King of Kings on December 5, but they ended up choking and suffered a reverse-sweep defeat (1-2). Things did not improve for them in the second week of action when Lava suffered a 0-2 loss against beastcoast.

Due to losing their opening two series, Lava need to find traction this week, and while they might do well against SG esports on Thursday, there is little to suggest they can compete with Thunder Predator. The former NoPing e-sports roster are 3-0 with a perfect 6-0 map record, and while they had to face only INF.UESPORTS, Hokori, and SG esports, Thunder Predator have shown enough for us to see them as the favourites to win the division.

As the latest Dota 2 betting odds suggest, this should be a very one-sided affair, and we don’t have a reason to argue with that. Take Thunder Predator to cover the map handicap and continue their perfect run.
