?Bad News Eagles begin REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 as the fourth-ranked roster in the field, with their recent rise up the rankings from 45th in the world in mid-April to 19th as of today. Bad News Eagles have been in mainly S-Tier events and qualifiers throughout 2022, which has been the main catalyst behind their rankings rise. BNE progressed through the Challengers Stage at the PGL Major in Antwerp to then finish in 15th-16th place, securing their best result as an organisation.
Sprout had to qualify for Season 3 of the REPUBLEAGUE through the closed qualifier, where they finished in 5th-8th place to secure the last spot in the event. They are currently no.30 in the world rankings and will begin the event on a four-game win streak. Sprout are currently sitting in fourth place with a 2-0 record in the Elisa Invitational Spring event and also sit in second place in Group D in ESL Challenger League Season 41 Europe. This international roster comes into the REPUBLEAGUE in great form and will be looking to keep the hot streak going in what is a very winnable opening-round match.
With both teams coming into the REPUBLEAGUE in great form and encouraging recent results, we should see a very competitive best-of-three. Over 2.5 maps is the play, paying -113.64 with BetOnline.

Entropiq begin Season 3 of the REPUBLEAGUE at no.17 in the world rankings, which marks a slight drop from their peak of no.9 back in March of this year. Due to visa issues and other travel constraints, the Russia-based team has had some trouble getting to events that involve the players being there in person. For that reason, Entropiq had to forgo their spot at IEM Dallas 2022 after they won the European closed qualifier. Entropiq have not played a competitive match of CS:GO since May 25, when they lost to K23, so they will be looking to flip the script here.
K23 were another one of the teams that had to qualify for the REPUBLEAGUE through the closed qualifier, where they finished in 5th-8th place also. The Russia-based team will start the event ranked no.36 in the world, some ways back from its peak ranking of 14th achieved back in February. K23 are 2-2 in their most recent best-of-three series, so their form does take dips, but they won’t be able to afford a slump here with the amount of talent on some of the rosters at this event.
K23 and Entropiq have had a very recent three-map series and we don’t see a whole lot different happening here. We will be taking the overs in the total maps market.
