?The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2023 Spring Playoffs continue into the final round of the single-elimination bracket on Tuesday, April 4, as LNG Esports take on Oh My God. The offered LoL betting odds suggest it should be a lopsided affair, but the playoffs have already produced enough upsets to believe another might be on the horizon.
Oh My God enter the third round of the LPL 2023 Spring Playoffs following a shock 3-2 victory against Top Esports. But for OMG to take one step further and enter the double-elimination bracket, they’ll have to do it again on Tuesday.
LNG Esports were one of the most dominant teams of the LPL 2023 Spring regular season, which they ended with an equal-best 13-3 record – alongside EDward Gaming and JD Gaming – and a 72% map win rate. LNG’s only losses came against Ninjas in Pyjamas (1-2), EDward Gaming (0-2), and JD Gaming (1-2).
On paper, LNG Esports look significantly stronger than Oh My God. But OMG showed good qualities in their win against Top Esports over the weekend, proving they can be competitive. While it must be noted that TES can lose to anyone, that doesn’t mean that Oh My God aren’t capable of troubling LNG.
Priced at +250 with BetOnline, Oh My God are heavy underdogs, and even though LNG Esports are an excellent team, the offered LoL betting odds don’t seem right. OMG have a solid roster with a consistent top-laner in Deng “shanji” Zi-Jian, a stable mid-laner in Lin “Creme” Jian and an excellent jungler in Mao “Aki” An, who played a key role in OMG’s win over Top Esports.
The outsiders have shown that they can dance with one of the most stacked rosters in the league, so even though beating LNG won’t be easy, OMG have the tools to make life a bit tougher for the Lee “Scout” Ye-chan and his squad.
