?Nongshim RedForce enter Week 2 of LoL Champions Korea (LCK) 2023 Spring with two losses against Fredit BRION (0-2) and KT Rolsters (1-2). Not the best way to start the season, but things are not as bleak as they may seem.
RedoForce had their chances to win either of the two games but were either unlucky or blundered in crucial moments. That’s not an excuse for their 0-2 record, but RedForce have shown enough for us to believe they can bounce back.
Dplus KIA won against DRX (2-0) and Liiv SANDBOX (2-0) last week and made a strong case for themselves as LCK’s strongest team. We could say that Dplus KIA have yet to be properly tested, but this is a very stacked roster, and it seems like the meta is shifting in their favour, making it tough to doubt Heo “ShowMaker” Su and his crew.
As the latest LoL betting odds suggest, this is Dplus KIA’s game to lose, and we can’t argue with that. Not only do we expect Dplus to win, but they should do it with plenty to spare.
Dplus KIA -1.5 kills

Liiv SANDBOX started the 2023 season with a 0-2 loss against Dplus KIA, but they then picked up a big victory against Hanwha Life Esports (2-1). Their next opponents, KT Rolster share the same 1-1 record, with a defeat against T1 (1-2) and a 2-1 victory against Nongshim RedForce.
Winning a map against T1 looks excellent on paper, but considering how much worse KT looked in the final two maps of the series, that map means very little. That was further confirmed on Sunday when KT struggled against RedForce.
We have to give KT Rolster props for fighting back after losing the first map, but beating Nongshim RedForce is hardly something to write home about. Still, the community is high on KT due to the big-name signings, which explains why esports betting sites have them as -227.27 favourites for this match.
KT Rolster are not a terrible team, but after what they’ve shown so far, they don’t deserve to be priced at such low odds. Liiv SANDBOX to win at +162 is an excellent value bet we can’t pass on.
