Hanwha Life Esports have made some heavy roster alterations ahead of the 2022 LCK season, which aren’t particularly bad, but we wouldn’t say that HLE upgraded. The departure of mid laner Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon will harm them, but HLE’s roster can still be competitive, as long as players such as Kim “Willer” Jeong-hyeon and Lee “SamD” Jae-hoon can step up and deliver.

Nongshim RedForce enter the 2022 season as one of the top teams in the league, but at the offered LoL betting odds, we would argue that they’re overrated, purely due to the players’ name recognition. The newest signings in Kim “Canna” Chang-dong, Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong, and Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun are all well known for their past success, but you can’t say how well will they do in a new environment.

What’s more, Ghost wasn’t good last season and is more of a support-style player, and the exact same can be said for Bdd, who needs to have carry players around him to shine. So this essentially means that Canna will have to change up his playstyle and be the carry player for his team, and it’s tough to say how this will play out.

Nongshim RedForce have the potential to be one of LCK’s top teams, but a lot will have to fall into place for them, and that will take time. Fading NF early into the season seems like the right call.

KT ROLSTER vs DWG KIA LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Dota 2 Betting Odds: KT +323 at BetOnline | DK -500 at BetOnline
When: January 13, 2022 at 20:00 KST
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/lck)

DWG KIA continue to carry the tag as one of Korea’s top LoL teams, despite the clear downgrades the team has made in the top lane, replacing Kim “Khan” Dong-ha with Noh “Burdol” Tae-yoon and Yoon “Hoya” Yong-ho. On a more positive note, ADC Seo “deokdam” Dae-gil could prove to be an upgrade in the bottom lane, but it will mostly depend on how well he gels with Kim “Kellin” Hyeong-gyu.

KT Rolster enter the 2022 LCK season with a new-look roster, which isn’t nearly as bad as the latest LoL betting odds suggest. Their newest mid laner Lee “Aria” Ga-eul is somewhat of an enigma, but if his 2021 performances in the Japanese league and on the international stage are any indication, he has the potential to be one of LCK’s top mid laners.

Besides that, KT Rolster field solid players in all positions, including top laner Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee, jungler Moon “Cuzz” Woo-chan, and Kim “Aiming” Ha-ram, who is easily one of the top ADCs in the world. That’s not to say that KT Rolster are guaranteed success, but their upside should have them flirting with a top-three finish.

There are a lot of moving pieces at KT Rolster, but the raw potential this team has is enough for us to take a shot with them to upset the 2021 LoL World Championship finalists.

KT Rolster to win
