The North American League of Legends Championship Series is heading into the fourth week of its Spring Split and it looks like organizer Riot Games has already sorted out where the typically extravagant season finals will be held this year.

After successful events in Boston, Las Vegas and New York in previous years, the NA LCS Spring Finals will be held in Florida on April 7 – 8, according to a report from ESPN. The venue hosting this year’s top-level LoL action is the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater, which has an audience capacity of around 2,700.

Riot Games has yet to officially announce the location, but the report’s sources are confident they will confirm the details within the week. It will be the first LoL tournament in the southeast region since the League of Legends 2015 Mid-Season Invitational and the smallest venue to host a LoL Championship Series Finals event.

Past finals have been held at much larger venues, such as Madison Square Garden in New York and the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, so it remains to be seen if Riot is looking to downsize the Spring Split series going forward.

The 2018 NA LCS Spring Finals will feature two series events across its two-day runtime, the third-place match on April 7th and the first-place game on April 8th. The winner will automatically qualify for the 2018 Mid-Season Invitational as the team representing the North American region. There, they will battle the top-ranking teams from other League of Legends regional championship series – the EU LCS, LCK, LPL and OPL – to take home the title.

The League Championship Series Spring Season is presently underway for the EU LCS, NA LCS and LCK. The North American league’s regular season will run until March 18, with playoffs scheduled to begin from March 24 at Riot Games’ Los Angeles esports studio.

100 Thieves, Cloud9, Echo Fox and Team Liquid are presently tied up for top-standings with a 4-1 record each after some stellar performances this past weekend.
